Immerse yourself in the beauty of farm landscape with our 6 -week Plein Air Course. Guided by the talented Stephanie, this course is designed to introduce or enhance your plein air painting skills and deepen your understanding of capturing the natural world on canvas. KEY TOPICS AND SKILLS COVERED • Learn the basics of starting a plein air painting. •. Understand what to look for when beginning your artwork. •. Discover how to find and create compelling compositions. •. Explore the elements that make a landscape visually appealing. •. Light and Shadow: Learn to observe and capture light and shadow accurately. •. Focus on understanding the temperature of light and shadow in color. •. Creating Depth: Master techniques to create depth in your paintings. •. Farm Landscape Focus: Paint scenes that include farm buildings and natural landscapes. Creative Workshop Series Policies Welcome to Over Here! We’re excited to have you join our community of passionate creators. Before you register for a class, workshop, or retreat, please take a moment to review our policies. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at melissa@overhere.ca. We’re here to help! General Registration Policies • First-Come, First-Served: Spaces in our workshops are limited, so we encourage early registration to secure your spot. • Advance Registration Recommended: To ensure you don’t miss out, please register ahead of time. Registration Confirmation: Your spot is confirmed once we receive your payment, which can be made conveniently online. Availability Subject to Change: All registrations depend on space availability. Changes and Updates: Occasionally, program details, prices, or instructors may change due to rare circumstances, but we'll keep you informed. Safety First: We prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants and reserve the right to make necessary adjustments. Cancellation and Refund Policy • Non-Refundable Payments: Payment is required in full at registration and is non-refundable. • Credit for Withdrawals: Withdrawals made between 3-10 days before a course start date will receive a credit applicable to another class within the same season. • Refund and Cancellation Fee: Withdrawals made over 10 days before the start date incur a $10 fee, plus a refund of the remaining balance. • No Refunds Within 10 Days: Cancellations within 10 days of the start date aren't eligible for refunds. • Missed Classes: Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds or credits for missed classes in a series. • Class Cancellations: If we cancel a class, we’ll notify you at least 4 days in advance and provide a full refund. • Refund Processing Fee: Refunds processed via credit card or our online store will include a 4% payment processing fee. • No Adjustments for Unattended Classes: We can’t provide discounts, credits, refunds, or transfers for unattended classes. Inclement Weather and Other Circumstances Stay Informed: Call us at 519-829-9398 for updates in case of bad weather. • Notifications: We’ll contact you via phone and email if classes are canceled. • Participation Risks: While we strive for a safe environment, participation involves inherent risks.
